By confirming a reservation and submitting a deposit or full payment to Eco Aventura Atacama, the client acknowledges and accepts these binding Terms & Conditions. This constitutes the formal contract of service between the passenger and our local agency in San Pedro de Atacama.

We require sufficient notice to manage our vehicle fleet and local guides effectively. Our standard cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Up to 48 hours before departure: 100% full refund of the tour price.
  • 24 to 48 hours before departure: 50% refund or the option to reschedule (subject to availability).
  • Less than 24 hours / No-shows: 0% refund. The service is considered rendered.

Unless explicitly itemized in a custom all-inclusive package, park entrance fees are NOT included in the base tour price.

Payment Requirements National Parks and indigenous reserves are managed by local communities. Entrance tickets must be paid directly at the gates or via specific official online portals in Chilean Pesos (CLP).

Eco Aventura Atacama prioritizes passenger safety above all else. Excursions may be modified, delayed, or canceled by the agency or local authorities (CONAF, indigenous communities) due to unforeseen Force Majeure events, such as Altiplanic winter rains, extreme winds, or local road blockades.

Resolution Protocol In the event of a Force Majeure cancellation, we will immediately attempt to reschedule your tour to an alternative day. If rescheduling is impossible, we will offer an equivalent available excursion or a respective refund based on the disrupted service.

Our expeditions take place at extreme altitudes ranging from 2,400 to over 4,300 meters above sea level in highly remote areas of the Atacama Desert and Altiplano.

Passengers are strictly responsible for evaluating their physical fitness for high-altitude travel prior to booking. The agency reserves the right to deny boarding to any passenger exhibiting symptoms of severe alcohol consumption or severe altitude sickness.
